Gestalt Therapist in Training

Client groups: Adults

Hello and welcome. I am a Relational Gestalt Therapist in Training (now in my 5th year), working with clients under clinical supervision. Clients have described me as down to earth, gentle, insightful, creative, and able to provide support being with and bringing new awareness to what’s painful or difficult about their experience.

My approach as a therapist is embodied and shaped by my experience as a yoga teacher and healing bodywork practitioner. For the last 15 years, I have supported others to cultivate a healing relationship with their body and breath, regulate and soothe their nervous system and tap into their felt sense of vitality and aliveness.

In therapy together, I will meet you wherever you find yourself right now so that you can be truly seen, heard and felt in the totality of your experience. Using the support of dialogue, art, Gestalt role play, somatic sensing and embodied gestures, you will have a safe, non-judgemental space to express yourself and give voice and shape to your experience.

Ultimately, I am here to support you in your healing journey. This includes taking time to acknowledge and honour what’s painful and in what ways you feel loss or grief. We will explore core beliefs and patterned ways of interacting that may be limiting and keeping you in a place that feels stuck or disempowering. I will provide support to help you widen your awareness, deepen your self compassion, get in touch with and build upon your inner resources, gain clarity around what you want and what matters to you, attend to the quality of your relationships, and grow in a direction that aligns with your values and how you want to experience yourself with others in the world.
