Yoga Teacher

There is a myth that yoga is only for the young, the strong and the flexible among us, but this couldn’t be further from the truth! The practice of yoga can provide a gentle and healing path to movement for anybody…or any body, regardless of age, size or level of fitness.

I personally discovered yoga after losing a loved one more than a decade ago; it was on my mat that I was able to process my grief, calm my mind and strengthen my body. I fell in love with the practice and decided to become a teacher, achieving my YTT 200 (Yoga Teacher Training 200 hours) in 2015.

I specialize in teaching Gentle Yoga and Chair Yoga. The difference between the two is that Gentle Yoga is done from the floor on a mat, while Chair Yoga is a seated and standing practice, utilizing a chair for support. Both these practices encourage slow, gentle movements while building strength and increasing flexibility. When we blend mindful movement with our breath, we calm our minds and soothe our overloaded nervous systems.

Yoga has transformed my life and nothing makes me happier than sharing it with others! Namaste!
